Used in historic boat building (movies) and waterfront dock construction (galvanized recommended). Surveyors use as pins for marking locations. Contractors use in landscaping applications.
Fastens tie plates to timber ties to maintain rail alignment and gauge width for railroads. Also used to secure light rail to small wooden ties in mines, tourist amusement parks, and zoo train rides.
